Chemco Electrical Contractors Ltd. is an all-Alberta owned electrical contractor based in Edmonton, with a branch office in Fort McMurray. For more than 38 years Chemco has been operating in Western Canada with a workforce of up to 600 employees.

Chemco Electrical Contractors Ltd. has proven themselves capable of undertaking large projects in the 60 million plus range, yet they remain versatile enough to provide the services required for small individual contracts. We provide high quality work in the power, oil and gas, mining, petroleum refining, chemical, and pulp and paper industries.

In addition to conventional pre-engineered and EPC-type contracts, Chemco participates in various project alliances and partnering concepts. Our service encompasses all facets of installation, acceptance, testing and commissioning requirements for electrical, instrumentation, heat tracing, substation, modularization, power distribution and high voltage applications.

Worker safety is our number one priority. To this end Chemco is a proactive leader of safety in the workplace with a focus to achieve our corporate goal of zero recordables. Chemco is the recipient of the Alberta WCB Worksafe 2001 Award of Distinction.
