History:
The team at Heninger Toyota believes strongly in EDUCATION and is excited to participate in the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Scholarship Program.
After many years with Ford Motor Company, Jack Heninger founded Heninger Toyota in February, 1968 in the facilities originally home to Heninger Mercury. In 1985, Heninger Toyota moved across the street into brand new facilities to handle the huge increase in business, and today, there are 84 Team Members working in the full service dealership. Their state of the art facilities are located at 3640 Macleod Trail South. The main building comprises 37,000 sq. ft. on 3 levels, with a Used Car centre on the opposite side of Macleod Trail.
In 1989, Brian Heninger became the President and Dealer Principle. In addition to his responsibilities at Heninger Toyota he is also active in Alberta Motor Dealers' Association and Calgary Motor Dealers' Association. In February 2001, he received the prestigious "Automobile Dealer Education Award" from Northwood University in Las Vegas, Nevada for his work in promoting higher learning in the automotive industry.
